THE ONLY CASE COMPANY TO USE TESTING METHODS INDEPENDENTLY APPROVED BY THE UK'S NATIONAL PHYSICAL LABORATORY
At Tech21, protection is our priority. We push the boundaries to develop groundbreaking materials that protect your phone, laptop and other tech from damage, no matter how many times you drop them. But how do we ensure that every Tech21 case is ready for everything modern life throws at it – whether that’s an overenthusiastic toddler launching your phone into orbit or it falling out of your pocket while out on a run?
The answer lies in our close relationship with the UK’s National Physical Laboratory. After our talented in-house science and materials team have developed a new case for the latest piece of tech, it’s subject to rigorous testing methods that have been independently approved by the physicists at the NPL.
For over a century, The NPL has independently developed and maintained measurement standards and is hugely respected all over the world. The market leader in cutting-edge measurement science, the organisation only endorses products and services that live up to their high standards, meaning consumers can have total confidence in anything that has their seal of approval. We’re the only case manufacturer to use methods approved by the NPL – which is why you can trust us when we tell you just how much our cases outperform the competition.
RIGOROUS – AND MULTIPLE – TESTS FOR EVERY TECH21 CASE
From FlexShock™ to our biodegradable phone cases and recycled phone cases, all of our products are subject to the same testing methods. Our drop tests are carried out using state-of-the-art equipment (that performs over 3 million calculations across the 20 times they’re checked) and if they don’t live up to our – and the NPL’s – high standards, then they do not go into production.
You can find a full breakdown of the methods we use on our Product Testing page, but in the meantime please rest assured Tech21 tests the following:
- UV resistance
All of this ensures that when we make a claim – no matter how bold – we mean it and can scientifically prove it.
